The invention relates to the technical field of constructional engineering, in particular to a fabricated self-resetting damping wall structure and a construction method thereof.The fabricated self-resetting damping wall structure comprises a frame, two vertically and oppositely distributed positioning assemblies are arranged in the frame, and a damping wall is arranged between the two positioning assemblies; the damping wall comprises an upper wall plate, a damping layer and a lower wall plate which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom, the top of the upper wall plate and the bottom of the lower wall plate are both connected with the frame, an elastic piece is arranged in the damping layer, and the two ends of the elastic piece penetrate out of the damping layer to be connected with the two positioning assemblies respectively. According to the technical scheme, the positioning assemblies on the two sides are pulled through the elastic pieces, so that the positioning assemblies on the two sides clamp the damping wall, the damping wall which relatively displaces in the plane is squeezed to the original position, the self-resetting function of the damping wall is achieved, the problem that an existing damping wall cannot automatically reset after displacement is solved, and the stability of the damping wall is improved.
