The invention provides a protective shed system for all-weather operation of a main cable wrapping tape. The protective shed system comprises a plurality of bearing ropes laid in a catwalk and a power mechanism. Comprising a plurality of cross beams laid along a catwalk and guide rails arranged on the cross beams in parallel, and the cross beams are provided with lock catch structures used for being buckled to a bearing rope and used for bearing the cross beams; a plurality of protective shed units which are spliced in sequence are mounted on the guide rail in a sliding manner, waterproof tarpaulin is laid on the protective shed units, and a windproof channel for a main cable to penetrate through is defined by the waterproof tarpaulin; windproof supporting mechanisms supported on the main cable are arranged on the cross beams at the entrance and the exit of the windproof channel; a locking structure for relatively locking the protective shed units is arranged between each cross beam and the corresponding guide rail; when the locking structure is in a non-locking state, the power mechanism drags the protective shed unit to move along the guide rail; the situation of protection construction of the main cable of the suspension bridge under the severe cold condition in winter is achieved.
