The invention discloses a cable-stayed bridge box girder and a construction method thereof.The cable-stayed bridge box girder comprises a box girder body, the box girder body is arranged on a bridge pier and a foundation, the box girder body comprises a box girder top plate, a box girder bottom plate and a plurality of inclined rods arranged between the box girder top plate and the box girder bottom plate, and the inclined rods comprise the first inclined rods and the second inclined rods; the first inclined rods and the second inclined rods are fixedly connected between the box girder top plate and the box girder bottom plate and arranged in the bridge direction at intervals. In the bridge direction, the section size of the first inclined rod is larger than that of the second inclined rod, the first inclined rod can be directly supported on a bottom plate, and the pressure of the self weight of the structure is reduced. The cable-stayed bridge beam structure has the advantages that the purposes of effectively transmitting loads, reducing the self weight of the structure and facilitating construction are achieved, and a novel beam structure form is provided for a cable-stayed bridge.
