The invention provides a cantilever beam mounting method to improve the stability of a cantilever beam, and relates to the technical field of cantilever scaffolds. The cantilever beam installation method comprises the following steps that a cantilever beam fixing piece is embedded in the position, where a cantilever beam is installed, of a floor slab, and the cantilever beam fixing piece is provided with a first exposed end exposed out of the side face of the floor slab and further provided with a second exposed end exposed out of the upper surface of the floor slab; a fixed pulley is arranged above the cantilever beam fixing piece; a cantilever beam is installed, one end of the cantilever beam is connected with the first exposed end, and the cantilever beam is fixed to the side face of the floor through the first exposed end; a pull rope with one end connected with the cantilever beam is arranged at the suspended end of the cantilever beam; and the other end of the pull rope bypasses the fixed pulley and then is connected with the second exposed end. According to the invention, the safety of engineering constructors can be better ensured.
