The invention relates to a compaction roller for a ground compactor, comprising a roller shell (24) which can be rotated about a roller rotation axis (W) and surrounds a roller interior (23), a swing/vibration device (28) which is arranged in the roller interior, the swing/vibration device (28) comprising: a first swing/vibration unit (30) which is arranged in the roller interior; the first unbalance mass (50, 50 ') can be driven to rotate around a first swing/vibration rotation axis (D1); and a second oscillating/vibrating unit (32) having at least one second unbalanced mass (52, 52 ') which can be driven in rotation about a second oscillating/vibrating axis of rotation (D2). The center of mass of the second unbalance mass part of the at least one first unbalance mass (50, 50 ') and/or the center of mass of the second unbalance mass part of the at least one second unbalance mass (52, 52') is moved between the two end positions at an angle of less than 180 DEG when the respective second unbalance mass part (62, 82) is moved about the associated pivot/vibration axis of rotation (D1, D2).
