The invention provides a door opening anti-collision system for an automobile, and relates to the field of vehicles. The door opening anti-collision system for the automobile comprises an automobile door, a main controller, an automobile rear sensing element and an automobile door limiting mechanism. The main controller is electrically connected with the automobile rear sensing element and the automobile door limiting mechanism. The automobile rear sensing element is used for detecting whether an object approaches quickly behind or not and generating a sensing signal, and the main controller receives the sensing signal and controls the automobile door limiting mechanism to work so as to limit opening of an automobile door. The vehicle door limiting mechanism comprises a limiting rod, a locking structure and a driver, the driver is in transmission fit with the locking structure, one end of the limiting rod is hinged to the door post, and the limiting rod movably penetrates through the interior of the vehicle door; when the sensing signal is received, the driver is controlled to be started to adjust the locking structure to the limiting station, so that the locking structure is matched with the limiting rod in a clamping manner; and when the sensing signal is not received, the driver is controlled to be closed, so that the locking structure is adjusted to the unlocking station, and the limiting rod moves relative to the locking structure.
