The invention provides a road surface leveling device for municipal construction, and relates to the technical field of road administration construction. The left ends and the right ends of the front end plate and the rear end plate are fixedly connected through two mounting clamping plates which are parallel to each other up and down; two driving fluted disc groups which are meshed with each other are vertically mounted in the middle of the end plate; a linkage rod is rotationally connected between the front driving fluted disc set and the rear driving fluted disc set through a pin shaft. According to the device, the pressing rod part vertically swings, finally, the leveling plate part on the leveling frame can reciprocate left and right so that peristaltic leveling can be conducted on a construction road surface conveniently, the two sets of leveling plates form folding peristaltic leveling, the leveling efficiency and the leveling effect are improved, and the problem that when the road surface is leveled, the leveling plate part cannot rotate is solved. Protruding positions of the road surface are scraped off in a mode that a hanging plate is adopted for horizontal scraping and moving, and pits are prone to occurring and horizontal consistency of the road surface is difficult to guarantee in a one-way scraping mode in the prior art.
