The invention discloses a paving control device for a sidewalk footpath. The paving control device comprises: a joint control plate for being inserted into a gap for paving bricks; the leveling plate is fixedly arranged on the joint control plate and is used for being attached to and positioned on the brick paving surface; and the lifting plate is fixedly arranged on the gap control plate and is used for enabling the gap control plate to be inserted into or separated from the gap under the control of external force. According to the technical scheme, when the pavement operation of the sidewalk is carried out, the actual gap can be adjusted to the level determined by the thickness of the gap control plate only by inserting the gap control plate into the gap of the paved bricks. Meanwhile, the leveling plate is attached to the brick paving surface through operation, and it can be ensured that the paving surface is in the state determined by the surface of the leveling plate. And after the adjustment is finished, the gap control plate can be pulled out from the gap. Therefore, the consistency of the width of the paving gap and the consistency of the flatness of the paving are realized.
