A novel automobile electric side door opening driver comprises a shell, a motor assembly, a lead screw assembly and a push rod, and the shell can be installed on an automobile side door; the motor assembly comprises an output shaft extending into the shell; the screw rod assembly is arranged in the shell and comprises a screw rod and a sliding block which is in threaded connection with the screw rod, and the screw rod is in transmission connection with the output shaft; the push rod is movably arranged on the shell in a penetrating manner; central shafts of the output shaft and the screw rod are perpendicular to each other; the screw comprises an input end and an output end, the input end is sleeved with a worm gear, and the output shaft is connected with a worm; the input end of the screw extends towards the side away from the output end to form a damping part, and a damper assembly is arranged on the damping part in a matched mode. The output shaft of the motor is perpendicular to the center shaft of the screw, transmission is achieved between the output shaft of the motor and the center shaft of the screw through cooperation of the worm gear and the worm, hovering can be achieved even if the motor loses power when the vehicle door is opened and closed, and the stability of the hovering function of the vehicle door is further improved due to the arrangement of the damper assembly.
