The invention relates to the technical field of power maintenance equipment, in particular to an ultra-high voltage transmission line iron tower cross arm scaling ladder which comprises a base, an extension ladder hinged to one side of the top of the base and a supporting frame hinged to the other side of the top of the base. The base comprises two stacked plate bodies and a pressure sensor clamped between the two ends of the two plate bodies, the bottom of the base is provided with a lead screw parallel to the length direction of the base and a driving motor driving the lead screw to rotate, the outer wall of the lead screw is in threaded connection with a balancing weight, and the bottom of the base is provided with a controller electrically connected with the driving motor and the pressure sensor. Through cooperative use of the pressure sensor, the driving motor, the balancing weight, the lead screw and the controller, the position of the moving block at the bottom of the base is adjusted according to the gravity center change of the scaling ladder, so that the overall gravity center position of the scaling ladder does not change too much, and the phenomenon that the scaling ladder topples over or rolls over is avoided.
