The garnet type solid electrolyte has the characteristic of easy sintering, a sintered compact ceramic material (the density is not less than 93%) can be obtained under a normal-pressure sintering condition, and the garnet type solid electrolyte has excellent lithium ion conductivity (greater than or equal to 1 mS/cm) at room temperature. The easy-to-sinter garnet electrolyte and the preparation method thereof are suitable for preparation of large-area high-ionic-conductivity garnet electrolyte sheets, and are applied to the field of energy storage of solid-state lithium batteries.
