A beam column type steel guardrail opening structure comprises stand columns, cross beams, rotating sleeves, rotating bolts, connecting pins and a foundation, the stand columns are longitudinally arranged on the foundation at intervals and connected with the cross beams through the bolts, the cross beams are arranged in three or more rows in the height direction, and openings are formed between every two spaced stand columns. A plurality of rows of cross beams are longitudinally disconnected at the opening positions, and the ends of the cross beams are provided with vertically-through mounting grooves, rotary sleeves are clamped into the mounting grooves, a left rotary sleeve and a right rotary sleeve are arranged in each row, one end of one rotary sleeve is provided with connecting channel steel with the same cross section size as the cross beams, the connecting channel steel covers the end of the other rotary sleeve, and the two rotary sleeves are connected into a whole through a connecting pin. The rotating sleeve is connected with the cross beam through the rotating bolt and the limiting pin, and the rotating sleeve rotates to be perpendicular to or horizontal with the cross beam with the rotating bolt as the axis. The opening position of the guardrail meets the safety protection requirement of the bridge guardrail; the vertical opening structure is convenient for operators to quickly open and close; only an existing structure needs to be changed, manufacturing cost is low, and installation and construction are convenient.
