The invention discloses an umbrella-shaped independent support and a construction method, and belongs to the technical field of construction methods and measures of constructional engineering. The supporting system is composed of an umbrella-shaped independent support and comprises a stand column, an inclined strut, a horizontal rod and other assemblies, the umbrella-shaped independent support can be unfolded and folded through a sliding block arranged on the stand column in the using process, the length of the stand column can be adjusted according to the clear height of a floor, and the horizontal rod is provided with a magnetic connecting block which can be automatically connected to improve integrity. Further, a stable and reliable floor slab supporting stress system is formed; during construction, the vertical load of the upper floor is transmitted to the inclined struts and the stand columns through the horizontal rods and transmitted to the lower floor through the stand columns. The method has the following advantages: 1, high-altitude operation is not needed during construction, and the erection and disassembly of the support system are completed only on the ground, so that the construction safety is improved; construction operation is easy and convenient, the supporting system is few in component, light in weight, convenient to carry, simple in overall structure and easy and convenient to operate; and 3, the method is more suitable for supporting the floor slab of a steel structure or a combined structure.
