The stiffening mechanism comprises a prestress inhaul cable, and the prestress inhaul cable is arranged outside the silo wall in the circumferential direction of the silo wall in a sleeving mode and connected with the silo wall through the connecting position of every two adjacent silo wall plates so as to apply tightening acting force to the silo wall. According to the silo wall structure provided by the invention, tightening acting force can be applied to the silo wall through the joint of the two adjacent silo wall plates through the prestressed inhaul cable, so that the bearing capacity of the silo wall is effectively improved, the silo wall is better prevented from deforming, and wider application of the steel plate silo is facilitated.
