The invention discloses a descending type dismantling device for a continuous beam bridge. The descending type dismantling device comprises a static pressure suspension support and a bridge deck crane. The static pressure hanging support comprises a support body, a jack and a hanging rod, the support body is detachably installed on a beam section adjacent to a to-be-cut beam section, the jack is installed on the support body, the hanging rod is connected with a piston rod of the jack, the hanging rod is detachably connected with the to-be-cut beam section, and the jack pre-lifts the to-be-cut beam section through the hanging rod. And the potential energy of the impact load is absorbed when the to-be-cut beam section is cut off. The bridge deck crane is installed on the continuous beam bridge, a lifting appliance of the bridge deck crane is detachably connected with a beam section to be cut, and after the beam section to be cut is cut, the dismantled beam section is lowered to the position below the bridge. The invention further discloses a descending type dismantling method for the continuous beam bridge. According to the descending type dismantling device and method for the continuous beam bridge, the impact load of the beam section cannot influence the deck crane, and the safety in the dismantling process of the continuous beam bridge is guaranteed.
