The invention discloses high-performance polymer mortar and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building materials, and the high-performance polymer mortar comprises the following raw materials by mass: 30-50 parts of special cement; 40-60 parts by mass of sand; 3-10 parts by mass of microbeads; 0.1 to 0.5 part by mass of a high-performance water reducing agent; 0.05 to 0.2 part by mass of a defoaming agent; 0-0.15 part by mass of an early strength agent; 0 to 0.2 part by mass of a retarder; 0.05 to 0.5 part by mass of a stabilizer; 0.1 to 0.5 part by mass of an expanding agent; 3-15 parts by mass of a polymer emulsion; 12 to 20 parts by mass of water; wherein the special cement is one or two of sulphoaluminate cement and high-alumina cement, and the sand is one or two of machine-made sand and river sand; the polymer emulsion is one or more of pure acrylic emulsion, styrene-acrylic emulsion and styrene-butadiene emulsion. The technical problems that existing polymer mortar is generally low in early strength, layered and segregated under high fluidity, large in mortar volume weight and prone to shrinkage are effectively solved.
