The invention relates to the technical field of sewage treatment, and provides a domestic sewage waste heat recovery system and a construction method thereof.The domestic sewage waste heat recovery system comprises a sewage well and a heat exchange device; the sewage well is used for being communicated with a domestic sewage discharge pipeline; the heat exchange device comprises a shell, a first heat exchange channel and a second heat exchange channel, and the first heat exchange channel and the second heat exchange channel are arranged in the shell; the sewage well communicates with one end of the first heat exchange channel through the liquid pump, and the other end of the first heat exchange channel is used for communicating with a municipal sewage pipeline. One end of the second heat exchange channel is communicated with a tap water pipeline, and the other end of the second heat exchange channel is communicated with a heating boiler; the fluid in the first heat exchange channel is used for coupling heat exchange with the fluid in the second heat exchange channel; according to the system, tap water is preheated through waste heat of domestic sewage, so that energy consumption of a heating boiler for firing hot water is reduced, and the heating cost is reduced.
