The invention provides a building side wall structure hole plugging assembly and plugging method. The plugging assembly comprises a force transmission screw, a butterfly nut and a baffle assembly and further comprises an umbrella-shaped plugging piece composed of a limiting piece, umbrella ribs, an umbrella handle, an umbrella frame and a sliding piece. The force transmission screw is in threaded connection with the umbrella handle, the umbrella-shaped plugging piece stretches into the umbrella handle from the inner side of a building side wall hole, so that the umbrella frame is located on the outer side of the hole, and the baffle is connected with the force transmission screw through the butterfly nut. The butterfly nut is fastened, so that an umbrella stand of the umbrella-shaped plugging assembly is expanded to the maximum limit and is attached to the wall surface, and then filling pouring materials can be put through the feeding port of the baffle assembly. The problem of hole plugging of a wall body at a special part which can only be operated from one side is solved; the umbrella stand is attached to the wall face, the risk of hole leakage can be effectively reduced, the umbrella-shaped plugging piece does not need to be disassembled after hole plugging is completed, the umbrella-shaped plugging piece can serve as wall face decoration, and the problem of potential safety hazards caused by high-altitude formwork removal construction operation on the outer side of a wall body through a hanging basket or a hanging rope in traditional construction can be solved.
