The invention relates to an anti-occupation device for a charging parking space, and the device comprises a license plate recognition barrier gate all-in-one machine which is used for carrying out the snapshot and recognition of a license plate, distinguishing a fuel vehicle from a new energy vehicle, and preventing the fuel vehicle from illegally driving into the charging parking space through the control of a barrier gate rod; the fireproof cooling device is used for monitoring the overall temperature of the vehicle body in real time, when the temperature is higher than a set threshold value, an electromagnetic valve is controlled to be opened, and water is sprayed to the vehicle body through an electromagnetic valve water sprayer for timely cooling; and the limiter is used for preventing the fuel vehicle from bypassing the license plate recognition barrier gate all-in-one machine, entering from the side surface or the rear surface of the charging parking space and occupying the charging parking space illegally. The invention further discloses a safety management method of the anti-occupation device for the charging parking space. According to the invention, the license plate recognition barrier gate all-in-one machine and the limiter are adopted, so that fuel vehicles can be effectively prevented from occupying charging parking spaces illegally; the fireproof cooling device is adopted, and the potential safety hazard of spontaneous combustion of the new energy vehicle due to too high temperature in the charging process can be eliminated.
