The invention discloses an expressway pavement anti-freezing device which comprises a box body, a hasp, a water tank, a drainage pipe, a soft plate, an upper supporting shaft, a supporting seat, a lower transmission gear, an identification roller, an upper transmission gear, an upper reflective strip, a lower polish rod, a left rack frame, a right rack frame, a lower compression spring, a transmission rack, a main ratchet rack, a transmission part and a throwing part. Horizontal hasps are fixed to the left end and the right end of the box body respectively, a water tank is fixed to the upper portion of the box body, a horizontal drainage pipe is fixed to the rear end of the water tank, and soft plates are fixed to the left portion and the right portion respectively. According to the invention, rain and snow in the water tank can be frozen earlier than rain and snow on the road surface by utilizing the characteristics of heat absorption and heat preservation of the land, and meanwhile, the engagement of the limiting rack to the limiting gear is relieved by utilizing the characteristic that the volume can be increased when water is solidified; the meshing of the main ratchet rack and the auxiliary ratchet rack can prevent the left rack frame and the right rack frame from resetting, and then it can be guaranteed that the limiting rack and the limiting gear are separated from meshing all the time.
