According to the construction method of the prestressed pipe pile, the advantages of the prestressed pipe pile and variable cross-section lengthening are fully combined into a whole, the characteristic that the compression resistance stress of a pile body is large in the upper portion and small in the lower portion is fully considered, the prestressed pipe pile is firstly constructed, and then a small-cross-section precast pile is constructed through a center hole channel of the prestressed pipe pile; the prestressed pipe pile can effectively penetrate through hard plastic clay, interlayer silt, silt and pebble soil layers, the bearing capacity of the prestressed pipe pile is greatly improved, meanwhile, the work efficiency is improved, the cost is saved, and the environment is protected.
