The invention provides a temporary road sign which comprises a base, the base adopts a water horse, the water horse comprises an isosceles trapezoid block on the lower portion and a cuboid on the upper portion, a pair of plastic clamping grooves is formed in the waist of one side of the isosceles trapezoid block, a sign plate is arranged between the pair of plastic clamping grooves, the sign plate is a KT plate, and the right side of the isosceles trapezoid block is provided with a water inlet. A binding structure is adopted between any plastic clamping groove and the label plate; first clamping openings are formed in the top face of the base at intervals, and at least one auxiliary supporting rod is arranged between any first clamping opening and the corresponding plastic clamping groove. The structure is reasonable, the water horse is adopted as the base, a support does not need to be additionally carried, and vehicles cannot be damaged even if the water horse is impacted by the vehicles on the road; the pair of plastic clamping grooves and the label made of the KT plate are light and convenient to carry; the label plate can be detached only by cutting off the nylon cable tie, replacement is convenient and fast, and the auxiliary supporting rod plays a role in structural reinforcement on the label plate and the plastic clamping groove.
