The embodiment of the invention discloses a barrier-free floor drain for a shower room, which comprises a floor drain groove body with a water outlet, a floor drain cover covering the floor drain groove body, a water baffle and a plate lifting mechanism for lifting the water baffle, a moving space for the water baffle to extend out is arranged between the side wall of the floor drain groove body and the side wall of the floor drain cover; wherein the plate lifting mechanism comprises installation seats arranged on the two sides of the floor drain groove body, rotating shafts installed in the installation seats, lifting arms used for jacking up the water baffle, pushing and pressing arms used for being in side pressure contact with a door body and pinch bars hinged to the interiors of the installation seats, and the lifting arms and the pushing and pressing arms are arranged on the rotating shafts; the water baffle is positioned above the lifting arm; a through hole for pressing down one end of the pinch bar is formed in the surface of the mounting base, one end of the pinch bar corresponds to the through hole, and the other end of the pinch bar is located below the floor drain cover. The shower room has the advantages that a user can conveniently enter and exit the shower room, and the shower room is easy to maintain and attractive.
