The invention discloses a liftable self-cleaning road height limiting rod for traffic control and a method thereof.The liftable self-cleaning road height limiting rod comprises a fixed sleeve, a lifting sleeve, a transverse mounting cylinder, a lifting adjusting mechanism and a self-cleaning mechanism, the lifting sleeve is slidably mounted in the fixed sleeve, and the transverse mounting cylinder is fixedly connected to the top end of the lifting sleeve; the lifting adjusting mechanism is in power connection with the lifting sleeve and drives the lifting sleeve to do lifting motion, and the self-cleaning mechanism cleans the lifting sleeve and the outer wall of the transverse mounting cylinder. The invention further discloses a using method of the liftable self-cleaning road height limiting rod for traffic control. The using method comprises the steps of lifting control, indication control and self-cleaning control. The height adjusting device has the advantage of being stable and reliable in height adjustment, the real-time height state of the transverse installation cylinder can be visually displayed, and efficient self-cleaning can be conducted.
