The invention discloses a formwork supporting system for pouring of a highway bridge engineering bent cap chamfering part and a construction method, and belongs to the technical field of design and manufacturing of highway engineering structure building process equipment. According to the formwork supporting system and the construction method for pouring of the chamfering part of the bent cap of the highway bridge engineering, construction operation is convenient, and the chamfering angle is accurate. The formwork supporting system comprises a pier column supporting structure of the highway bridge engineering, the formwork supporting system further comprises a formwork assembly and a supporting adjusting assembly, and the formwork assembly is arranged on the pier column supporting structure in the mode that the inclination angle of the formwork assembly can be adjusted through the supporting adjusting assembly.
