The invention discloses a muck baking-free brick using high-temperature modified residual mud and a preparation method thereof.The muck baking-free brick is prepared from calcined residual mud, cement, engineering muck and water, the dry mass ratio of the calcined residual mud to the cement to the engineering muck is 15: 85: 900, the water content of the engineering muck is smaller than 1%, the particle size of the engineering muck is smaller than 5 mm, and the water content of the engineering muck is smaller than 10%. The calcined residual mud is formed by calcining residual soil and residual mud with the particle size of less than 0.15 mm in granite weathered residual soil. The invention further provides a preparation method of the residue soil baking-free brick using the high-temperature modified residue soil. According to the invention, the kaolin component in the granite weathered residual soil residual mud is fully utilized and is changed into the calcined residual mud with pozzolanic activity through simple treatment, and the calcined residual mud is used as a mineral admixture to partially replace cement, so that the cost is reduced, and the carbon emission generated by using the cement can be reduced while the strength is ensured.
