The invention discloses a residue soil baking-free brick and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of building materials and environmental engineering. The preparation method comprises the following steps: pretreating undisturbed muck, spraying a soil curing agent into semi-dry muck fine powder, uniformly stirring, uniformly mixing the active cementing material and the modified muck fine powder, loading the powder mixture into a mold, and pressing the powder mixture into a high-density block body in the mold under high forming pressure of 50-80 MPa; crushing and grinding the high-density block, and then performing screening and grading treatment; weighing materials with different particle sizes, uniformly stirring, loading a particle powder mixture into a mold, and pressing into a residue soil brick blank body in the mold; and standing and curing the residue soil brick blank to obtain the residue soil baking-free brick. Compared with a traditional residue soil baking-free brick, the residue soil baking-free brick prepared through the method is high in residue soil utilization rate, high in density, high in strength and low in water absorption rate and shows high market competitiveness as a novel wall material, and large-scale cyclic regeneration resource utilization of residue soil is achieved.
