The invention discloses a composite heat preservation batten and a construction method thereof. The composite heat preservation batten comprises a sandwich layer (1), an external wrapping plate (2), a reinforcing layer (3) and a wrapping layer (4). The two outer wrapping plates (2) are attached to the two faces of the sandwich layer (1) respectively, the two reinforcing layers (3) are attached to the two outer wrapping plates (2) respectively, and the sandwich layer (1), the outer wrapping plates (2) and the reinforcing layers (3) are pressed and attached to form the prefabricated composite batten of an integrated structure. The prefabricated composite battens are sequentially spliced, the two wrapping layers (4) are integrally constructed on the two surfaces of the spliced prefabricated composite battens respectively, and the composite heat preservation batten is formed. The structural strength of the assembly type batten and the structural integrity of the assembled batten can be improved, and the field assembly efficiency and the assembly quality can be improved.
