The invention relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, in particular to a combined box girder structure and a construction method.The combined box girder structure comprises a bottom plate, prefabricated webs are arranged on the two sides of the bottom plate, a top plate is arranged above the two prefabricated webs, and steel ribs are arranged in the prefabricated webs; the upper ends and the lower ends of the steel ribs penetrate out of the prefabricated webs to be connected with the bottom plate and the top plate respectively, a plurality of cast-in-place transverse partition plates are arranged between the two prefabricated webs at intervals in the length direction of the combined box girder, and prefabricated transverse partition plates are arranged at supporting points of the two ends of the combined box girder. The combined box girder is light in hoisting weight, convenient to construct, high in web crack resistance and low in maintenance cost; and the construction method is simple.
