The invention provides a large-tonnage reinforcement cage hoisting method, which belongs to the technical field of building and municipal engineering construction, and comprises the following steps: connecting a hoisting device to the upper part and the side part of a reinforcement cage to be hoisted; the lifting device comprises a fixing disc, a supporting frame connected to the lower end of the fixing disc, a first lifting appliance connected to the upper end of the fixing disc and used for being connected with the lifting end of a crane, and a second lifting appliance connected to the side wall of the reinforcement cage and used for being connected with the lifting end of another crane. Two cranes are arranged and respectively connected with the end parts of the first lifting appliance and the second lifting appliance; and the two cranes work in a matched mode to vertically hoist the reinforcement cage, the reinforcement cage is placed in a drilled hole which is drilled in advance, and after placing is completed, the second lifting appliance and the fixing disc are sequentially made to be separated from the reinforcement cage. According to the large-tonnage reinforcement cage hoisting method provided by the invention, the reinforcement cage is connected by using the fixing disc, and the reinforcement cage is accurately and stably placed in the drill hole through the cooperative use of the first hoisting tool and the second hoisting tool, so that the hoisting safety of the reinforcement cage is improved.
