The invention discloses adhesive mortar capable of being used for autoclaved aerated concrete blocks, which is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 20 to 30 parts of cement, 40 to 50 parts of sand, 20 to 25 parts of organosilane modified fly ash, 0.8 to 1 part of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 1 to 1.2 parts of redispersible latex powder, 0.2 to 0.5 part of polypropylene fiber, 0.3 to 0.5 part of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 0.1 to 0.3 part of retarder and 16 to 22 parts of water. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the adhesive mortar, and the adhesive mortar prepared by the invention not only has excellent mechanical properties and is firmly bonded with a substrate, but also can effectively improve the occurrence of hollowing or cracking phenomenon of a plaster layer of a wall when being used for bonding autoclaved aerated concrete blocks.
