The invention discloses a construction method for a support-free cantilever platform. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, a building main body structure is constructed to the position above the elevation of the cantilever platform; secondly, an operation platform is erected below the elevation position of the cantilever platform; thirdly, after construction of the operation platform is completed, an auxiliary support is erected at the elevation position of the cantilever platform; fourthly, after the auxiliary supports are erected, cantilever beam formworks are hoisted at the bottoms of the auxiliary supports, and cantilever beams are poured; fifthly, after the cantilever beam is poured, a prefabricated cantilever platform bottom plate is fixedly installed on the top of the cantilever beam; and 6, after the cantilever platform bottom plate is installed, a floor slab is poured on the cantilever platform bottom plate, after construction of the cantilever platform is completed, the operation platform and the auxiliary support are dismantled, and construction is completed. According to the construction method, the bearing requirement of construction of the ultra-large cantilever platform can be met, the construction procedure is simplified, the construction cost is saved, a complex and tedious supporting frame does not need to be built, and the structure of the cantilever platform cannot be damaged.
