The invention relates to high-light-transmittance heat-insulation fireproof glass and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 4-6% of an anti-condensing agent, 1% of a water-based defoaming agent, 65-70% of a silicon dioxide aqueous solution and 25-30% of a potassium hydroxide solution, and preparing a fireproof solution; laminating the first glass substrate, the middle piece and the second glass substrate, wherein a hollow cavity is formed between the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate; and pouring the fireproof liquid into the hollow cavity, and drying and curing to obtain the high-light-transmittance heat-insulating fireproof glass. According to the application, the proportion of the silicon dioxide aqueous solution is increased to 65-70%, and the ratio of SiO2/k2O is increased to 4.5-5.5, so that the crosslinking degree of silicon-oxygen bonds can be increased, the chemical stability of the silicon-oxygen bonds can be improved, the problems of bubbles generated in the use process, reduction of visible light transmittance, yellowing and the like are avoided, and meanwhile, the thermal stability and the fireproof performance are also improved.
