Provided are a building component, a light irradiation system, and a lighting system, all of which are capable of reducing the weight of a building component that emits lighting light. The building member (10) forms at least a part of the structure (1) facing the object space (S1). The building component (10) has a first function, a second function and a third function. The first function is a function for emitting illumination light (L2) toward an object space (S1). The second function is a function that allows incident light to enter the building member (10). Incident light is emitted from a light source (2) provided outside a projection area (A10) of the building member (10) viewed from an object space (S1), and is incident on the building member (10) via a light transmission means (3). The third function is a function of converting incident light into illumination light (L2).
