The invention provides a method for treating rural black and odorous water, which comprises the following steps: S1, investigating pollution sources, including point source investigation, non-point source investigation and endogenous pollution investigation; s2, investigating environmental conditions; (S3); performing treatment and control on the basis of the step S1 and the step S2; and S4, supervising and controlling. By adopting the rural black and odorous water extraction treatment method provided by the scheme of the invention, black and odorous sense organs can be avoided, the water quality reaches the standard, long-term'preparation 'and long-term cleaning can be realized, and the effect of thoroughly treating the black and odorous water body is achieved by adopting ecological floating islands and ecological manners of planting lythrum salicaria and potamogeton pectinatus along the bank of a water channel and the like; the method is especially suitable for treatment of dispersive rural ditches in coastal regions.
