The refrigerating appliance comprises a box body, a refrigerating chamber and a control device, wherein the box body defines the refrigerating chamber; the outer shell body is arranged in the refrigeration chamber, and an outer shell is defined by the outer shell body and is configured to be a butt joint opening used for containing the water filter; and a door assembly for selectively accessing the housing. The door assembly includes: an access door rotatably mounted to the housing housing; a guide pin mounted on the housing body; a guide bar having a first end rotatably mounted to the access door and a second end opposite the first end, the second end defining a slot in which the guide pin is slidably received; a friction washer mounted on the guide pin adjacent to the guide bar; and a spring member mounted on the guide pin and configured to urge the friction washer against the guide bar to resist movement into the door.
