The invention relates to a fabricated slope protection structure and a construction method thereof. The slope protection structure comprises a plurality of H-shaped steel piles which longitudinally penetrate into an outer soil body at the bottom of a slope through pile sinking construction, and the H-shaped steel piles are arranged side by side at intervals in the extension direction of the slope; l-shaped ground beams for connecting the H-shaped steel piles into a whole are poured above soil bodies at the bottoms of the H-shaped steel piles, a plurality of rectangular soil retaining panels and/or drainage panels made of reinforced concrete are inserted into notches, above the L-shaped ground beams, of every two adjacent H-shaped steel piles from bottom to top, and the panels and the H-shaped steel piles are mutually clamped; the drainage panels are evenly arranged in the soil retaining panels at intervals, drainage through holes are formed in the middles of the drainage panels, and galvanized steel pipes penetrating into the slope are inserted into the drainage through holes. Medium sand is backfilled between a protective retaining wall formed by the H-shaped steel piles, the L-shaped ground beams, the soil retaining panels and the drainage panels and the slope soil body, and a top beam for connecting the H-shaped steel piles into a whole is poured at the top of the protective retaining wall.
