The invention relates to the technical field of building pitched roof structures, and provides a connecting structure of an assembly type steel structure building pitched roof aiming at the situation that traditional rainwater easily enters a building through gaps between color steel tiles and ridge covers, the connecting structure comprises a roof framework, and the color steel tiles are laid on the two opposite sides of the roof framework; a ridge cover is erected above a ridge of the roof framework, a water collecting tank is further erected below the ridge of the roof framework, the projection of the water collecting tank on the horizontal plane covers the projection of a gap between the ends, close to each other, of every two adjacent color steel tiles on the horizontal plane, and the bottom of each water collecting tank is communicated with a drainage pipe. The color steel tile has the effect of preventing rainwater from entering a path inside a building through a gap between the color steel tile and the ridge cover.
