The invention discloses a graphite polar plate and a preparation method thereof, an alkaline electrolytic bath and water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment. The graphite polar plate comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 75-85% of graphite powder, 1-5% of an additive, 1-5% of an additive and the balance of water. 15%-25% of alkali-resistant resin; 3%-5% of a conductive agent; and 3%-7% of carbon fiber. A copolymer formed by at least one of epoxy resin, novolac epoxy resin and vinyl resin is used as a resin matrix, the resin matrix, graphite powder and carbon fibers are used as raw material components, carbon black is preferably selected as a conductive agent, and material components, the proportion and the forming process are optimized, so that the high-conductivity conductive carbon fiber composite material is obtained. The corrosion resistance and air tightness of the graphite polar plate can be improved, and the mechanical properties such as bending strength and tensile strength of the graphite polar plate can be improved, so that the graphite polar plate can meet the use requirements of the alkaline electrolytic cell.
