The conversion connecting piece comprises a main body column, a connecting groove, a locking hole, a locking piece and a pressing ring, the main body column is vertically arranged, the vertically-arranged connecting groove is formed in the top of the main body column, the section of the connecting groove is round, a first internal thread is arranged on the inner wall of the connecting groove, and the locking hole is formed in the center of the bottom of the connecting groove; the locking holes downwards penetrate through the main body column and are in an inverted cone frustum shape, a locking sleeve is defined by the multiple locking pieces, the locking sleeve is in a cone frustum shape matched with the locking holes, gaps are formed between the locking pieces, and locking protruding lines are arranged on the inner walls of the locking pieces. The top end of the locking sleeve is not lower than the top end of the locking hole all the time, and a pressing ring is placed on the top of the locking sleeve. The locking sleeve defined by the locking pieces is matched with the pressing ring, so that the reinforcing steel bar connected with the lower portion of the connecting piece can be effectively locked and is not prone to loosening, and the connecting effect is effectively guaranteed.
