The invention discloses a grinding device for a rail groove of a groove rail, and relates to the field of rail maintenance, the grinding device comprises a frame, lateral positioning devices, a driving device, a grinding device and a lifting device, the lateral positioning devices are installed on the two sides of the frame, and the driving device is used for driving the lateral positioning devices to work. The lateral positioning device is driven by the driving device to work, the middle of the groove-shaped rail is clamped between the two positioning wheels, transverse rapid positioning of the grinding head can be achieved, the grinding head attached to a rail groove and the grinding disc attached to the top face of the rail can move along the rail under the constraint of the lateral positioning device, and a surfacing layer is rapidly ground; therefore, the surfacing layer and the rail groove can be stably transited; according to the liftable grinding head, the surfacing layer area can be divided into several depths for successive deep grinding, the second screw is adopted in the lifting part to be matched with the driving shaft and the sleeve for use, and compared with overall lifting of the whole grinding device, consumed electric power is small, and the grinding device is suitable for continuous grinding of remote road sections.
