The gutter inlet device comprises a well chamber, a well lid, a driving mechanism, an upper transmission mechanism, a lower transmission mechanism and a cover plate mechanism, the upper part of the well chamber is divided into a water inlet chamber and an upper transmission chamber, the middle part of the well chamber is divided into a driving chamber and a plurality of diversion chambers, and the lower part of the well chamber is divided into a lower transmission chamber; the water inlet chamber is communicated with the upper transmission chamber, the upper transmission chamber is communicated with the driving chamber and the flow dividing chambers, the driving chamber is communicated with the flow dividing chambers, the bottom of the side wall of each flow dividing chamber is communicated with an intercepting pipe, the upper transmission chamber is communicated with the flow dividing chambers through flow dividing holes, a water passing cylinder is arranged below the flow dividing holes, and a cover plate mechanism is arranged in the water passing cylinder. And the driving mechanism can drive the cover plate mechanism to move up and down through the lower transmission mechanism and the upper transmission mechanism and open or close a communication channel formed by the corresponding flow dividing hole and the water passing cylinder, so that rainwater in different rainfall periods can be conveyed to corresponding rainwater treatment facilities at the downstream for targeted treatment after being classified and intercepted.
