The invention discloses a prefabricated side ditch for comprehensive laying of municipal pipelines and a construction method thereof.The prefabricated side ditch is formed by sequentially splicing a plurality of side ditch units, each side ditch unit comprises a concrete prefabricated box body, and the concrete prefabricated box body is provided with a bottom face, a left side face and a right side face; the front end of each concrete prefabricated box body is provided with a bearing end protruding outwards, and the rear end of each concrete prefabricated box body is provided with a bearing end sunken inwards, so that every two adjacent concrete prefabricated box bodies are sequentially connected in a clamped mode in the splicing process. Supporting clamping grooves are formed in the left side and the right side of the inner wall of the concrete prefabricated box body and used for containing a rainwater groove, a waterproof material layer is arranged above the rainwater groove, and outer edges extending outwards are arranged on the two sides of the waterproof material layer and used for being placed on the upper end face of the side wall of the box body. According to the method, the purpose of laying various municipal pipelines in narrow streets of historical blocks with small influence of styles and features and low construction cost is achieved.
