The invention relates to the technical field of building steel frames, and discloses a splicing type building steel frame assembly structure and an assembly method.The splicing type building steel frame assembly structure comprises two steel frame components, and first mounting mechanisms and second mounting mechanisms are arranged in the two steel frame components and used for fixing the two steel frame components; the first mounting mechanism comprises a first sliding groove, a first sliding block and a first reset spring. The first sliding groove is formed in the steel frame component. According to the splicing type building steel frame assembly structure and the assembly method thereof, compared with a splicing mode that two steel frame components are not firmly fixed due to stress change of oblique connection when the two steel frame components which are arranged in an oblique angle mode are fixed by a traditional building steel frame, through clamping of the two first sliding blocks, the two steel frame components are not firmly fixed; and the first fixing plate and the second fixing plate are clamped on the surfaces of the two steel frame components, so that the two steel frame components can be spliced at an oblique angle, and the fixation is very firm.
