The invention discloses a partial blasting demolition method for an unqualified pier. The method comprises the following steps that S1, the blasting collapse direction is determined according to the surrounding environment of the unqualified pier; s2, designing a blasting notch according to the collapse direction: upwards forming the blasting notch with the height of h in the position, away from a bearing platform at the lower end of the unqualified bridge pier, of the unqualified bridge pier, and forming a plurality of first cutting areas and first hole distribution areas which are distributed at intervals on a blasting front end face notch, located on the front end face of the collapse direction, of the blasting notch, the first cutting area penetrates through the side wall of the unqualified pier; second cutting areas with gradually decreased heights are formed in blasting side surface notches, located on the two side edges of the collapse direction, of the blasting notch, and second hole distribution areas are distributed on the sides, located in the cutting direction, of the second cutting areas; s3, design of blasting holes; s4, the explosive loading amount of the blasting holes is calculated; and S5, designing a detonating network. According to the dismantling method, the pier dismantling construction period is shortened, the dismantling cost is reduced, and meanwhile it is guaranteed that the bearing platform and the pile foundation below the pier are not damaged.
