The invention provides a formwork structure of a cast-in-place arch small box chamber and a construction method. The formwork structure comprises a plurality of box chamber cavities; the box chamber cavities are distributed in the main arch ring, and each box chamber cavity is internally provided with a profiling formwork component, a supporting tire film and a plurality of tire film positioning and supporting assemblies. A profiling template component is arranged at the part, in contact with a web plate and a top plate of the main arch ring, of the outer contour of each box chamber cavity; each box chamber cavity is filled with a supporting tire membrane, the tire membrane positioning and supporting assemblies are arranged in the supporting tire membranes and abut against the profiling formwork components, and the bottoms of the tire membrane positioning and supporting assemblies are pre-buried in a bottom plate of the main arch ring; a sludge discharge channel is formed in the bottom of each box chamber cavity, and a water inlet channel is formed in the top of each box chamber cavity. The top and the bottom of each box chamber cavity are respectively provided with the water inlet channel and the sludge discharge channel, so that the supporting tire membrane is smoothly dismounted, the dismounting difficulty is greatly reduced, and the construction efficiency is improved while the self weight of the box chamber cavities is reduced.
