The invention relates to a sponge city concave greenbelt which comprises a concave greenbelt body, the concave greenbelt body sequentially comprises a rammed earth layer, a rubble layer and a soil layer from bottom to top, green plants are planted on the soil layer, a drainage pipeline is embedded in the soil layer, a water inlet seam is formed in the top wall of the drainage pipeline, and a water outlet seam is formed in the top wall of the drainage pipeline. A seepage well is buried in the sunken green land body, a plurality of water guide pipes are communicated with the seepage well, the water guide pipes are communicated with a drainage pipeline, the seepage well is communicated with an overflow pipe, the overflow pipe is used for being communicated with a municipal rainwater pipe, and the bottom wall of the seepage well is open. A fine sand layer, a gravel layer, an artificial cloth layer and a pervious concrete layer are sequentially arranged in the seepage well from top to bottom. The method has the effect that when the rainfall is too large, rainwater is not prone to being collected in the concave green land, and accumulated water is formed.
