The invention relates to a concave greenbelt for a sponge city, the concave greenbelt comprises a road prefabricated and formed by pervious concrete and water storage greenbelts formed on two sides or one side of the road in a concave manner, and the water storage greenbelts comprise pebble layers, water storage layers for storing water and planting layers planted with green plants which are sequentially distributed from bottom to top; the pebble layer and the water storage layer extend to the position below the road, the portions, located below the road and on the side portion of the road, of the pebble layer are arranged in a concave mode, a plurality of water storage vertical pipes distributed in the length direction are fixedly connected to the bottom of the road, and the water storage vertical pipes penetrate through the pebble layer and the water storage layer. The water storage stand pipe penetrates through and is fixedly connected with a plurality of water seepage pipes used for seeping internal water to planting layers on the two sides of the road, and a plurality of drainage channels used for evenly distributing accumulated water on the road to the planting layers are arranged on the road shoulder of the road. The rainwater irrigation uniformity can be improved, so that the rainwater utilization rate is increased.
