The invention discloses a stretching out-position friction energy dissipater. Comprising two cover plates which are symmetrically arranged up and down, two driving plates which are clamped between the two cover plates and are symmetrically arranged left and right, four friction blocks which are clamped between the cover plates and the driving plates and are symmetrically arranged up and down and left and right, and eight reset springs which are symmetrically arranged up and down and left and right and front and back and are used for pulling the friction blocks and the cover plates, the four restraining bolts penetrate through the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate and are symmetrically arranged in a front-back and left-right mode, and the eight disc springs are symmetrically arranged in a front-back and left-right mode and connected to the restraining bolts in a sleeving mode. The energy dissipater can achieve the technical purposes that energy is consumed only in the stretching out-of-position process, and force response is not provided in other working conditions including stretching reset, compression out-of-position and compression reset. A special reset assembly is not needed; the problem of compressive buckling does not exist; sufficient working displacement can be realized; the structure is simple, control is easy, and application is convenient.
