The invention discloses a safety device for protecting a bridge body from flood, the bridge body comprises a bridge floor and bridge piers, the bridge floor passes through a plurality of horizontally arranged bridge piers, the safety device comprises balls arranged between adjacent bridge piers, and bearings used for matched transmission are arranged between the balls and the bridge piers. The bridge pier is provided with a power generation device in a matched mode, the power generation device generates power through kinetic energy generated by rotation of the ball body, and when the bridge is faced with an extra-large flood disaster, flood flow impacts the ball surface, and the ball surface releases force to flood torrent flow through rolling, so that the bridge body is protected. The safety protection device not only can complete prevention work on flood disasters which are not encountered for many years, but also can provide certain economic value in daily life, so that the problem that an existing bridge is lack of a safety protection device is solved.
